complete production process of COB LED light
Step 1: Fix resistor
Fix the required resistor on FPCB with solder paste.
Step 2: Chip bonding
Chip expansion, and then use equipment to fix the chip on the FPCB.
tep 3: Reflow
Through the reflow oven at over 65°C high temperature, the resistor and chip are completely soldered on the FPCB.
Step 4: The PCBA testing
Use professional equipment to light up the PCBA with soldered resistors and chips for testing.
Step 5: Apply fluorescent glue
Provisioning phosphor glue according to the order requirements and test the CCT. After passing the test, use an automatic dispensing machine to pull the glue to the surface of the PCBA.
Step 6: Oven baking
Short high-temperature baking to shape the COB light strip with glue; then long-term curing baking.
Step 7: COB LED board separation and Wire welding
Divide the COB LED board into single strips, cut the strip into standard 5M, and weld the wires (plug wires can also be customized).
Step 8: QC Test
Vibration detection and high and low voltage lighting detection.
Step 9: Aging Test
Step 10: Paste 3M sticker and into a roll

Chip-on-Board or “COB” refers to the mounting of a bare LED chip in direct contact with a substrate (such as silicon carbide or sapphire) to produce LED arrays.
The construction of COB LED strips is different from that of the regular SMD LED strip. SMD LEDs are soldered to the packaging strip. COB LEDs are lined onto the PCB and then covered using translucent material.
